I'll be heading home from my outing with Magpie soon. I've obtained a motorcycle for my troubles, which after sitting through that movie is the least I deserve, I think.

How is everything? Nothing's caught fire, I hope?

Well, I learned many interesting things from that movie. For instance, Magpie's movie expy had a spiky, black "serpent."

And a version of you appeared, sparkling and shirtless, approaching the ocean with a surfboard of all things. Of course, no movie could compare to the genuine Ren Amamiya experience.

Well, she said a lot of strange things about me. I tried messaging Akechi-senpai, but I think he might be busy. I know I was probably imposing on him, too. Things have been a little tense lately.

It's just troubling. People keep acting like they know more about me than I do.

It takes a little while before Akechi and Ren can head off for the day, in part due to the necessary breakfast prep and making sure the kids are all set for the day. Once all the little odds and ends are attended to and the kids head off with Magpie, it's time for them to make their move.

And so they arrive at the Shibuya station, and Crow removes his phone. "Well, here we are. It's certainly been a while since the two of us entered the Metaverse together."

"It really has been, huh..." Ren smiles, following Goro. "I've missed it."

"At least this way, we can get back into the swing of things." He flashes Ren a smile, but... hm. This is going to be quite the ordeal, isn't it? Nonetheless, he punches in Mementos.

The station ripples and warps all around them until the familiar red color scheme of Mementos takes over. As they arrive, Crow's typical princely costume materializes, and he heaves a small sigh of relief that this is his 'default.'

Unfortunately, that's not what Ren is here to see. "...So, are you prepared to see my 'other side'?"

At first, Crow just moves along, limp. Silent. Strangely submissive. Ren wanting to have a... talk is worrisome, on top of everything else that's happened today.

Did he ruin it? Was this a breaking point? His eyes squeeze shut. He gulps. No. Don't panic. Don't make assumptions. Just... breathe.

His Shadow follows along, equally uncertain, but someone has to be the one to break the silence. "So... what did you want to talk about, Ren?"

Joker takes Crow's right hand in his left and rubs it, clinking their rings together as they walk along. "I'm not leaving you." A glance back at his Shadow. "Either of you." Deep breath in, deep breath out. He twines their fingers together. "We haven't eaten out together in a while...let's stop by the food court?"

There is room for negotiation in Ren's voice this time, now that they're back in the real world.

I should not have involved you in the first place in my argument with Crow, regardless of my grievances with him. While the entire thing was nothing short of abhorrent, and my comment regarding you was uncalled for.
